Serenity - Open Edition

Growing up in Europe, I saw Winter as a wondrous season.
It was a time of peace, harmony and calm but it was also a time for celebrations! 
Christmas and family gatherings were joyous occasions. Often our outside world became dressed in beautiful white snow. 
This painting represents a very important month in my life - December.
The majestic mountains and twinkling snow represent some of the most beautiful moments in my life.
The moment when my husband proposed to me.
The moment I had my first baby.
These experiences have led me to love the colour white as a representation of the love I have felt - serenity.
